At Floor Coverings International, we bring the flooring showroom directly to our customers’ homes. Using our Mobile Flooring Showroom, you’ll guide homeowners through flooring options, help them visualize their new space, and deliver a seamless project experience from consultation to installation.

What You’ll Do as an In-Home Flooring and Design Sales Consultant

Conduct in-home flooring and design consultations using our Mobile Flooring Showroom

Listen to homeowners’ needs and recommend flooring solutions that fit their style, lifestyle, and budget

Use digital tools (iPad, laser measures, estimating software) to create professional proposals on the spot

Follow our proven consultative sales process from first appointment to project completion

Build strong relationships with homeowners, contractors, and referral partners

Attend networking events and develop a personal referral pipeline to grow your business

Maintain consistent follow-up to ensure a seamless 5-star customer experience

Meet or exceed sales goals while delivering exceptional service

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of in-home sales or consultative sales experience

Flooring, home improvement, or design experience is a plus

Strong relationship-building and communication skills

Highly organized with excellent follow-through

Comfortable using tablets, CRMs, and digital estimating tools

Self-motivated and goal-driven in a performance-based environment

Valid driver’s license and availability for client appointments (days, evenings, some weekends)

Meet Garner Garner is one of the newest owners of the local Floor Coverings International territory, and she is excited to build upon an already growing business. With more than 30 years of experience in corporate America, Garner brings a well-rounded background that spans recruiting, human resources, change management, and communications.

Known for her ability to “start from scratch” and her trademark “get it fixed” mentality, Garner thrives in environments where she can build, improve, and lead with purpose. She is energized by problem-solving and is passionate about bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to her new business. She looks forward to applying that same drive and leadership to deliver an exceptional experience for both customers and team members.

Garner and her husband, Philip, are co-owners of Peachy Portable Potties, and she values the opportunity to grow and manage these businesses alongside her family. She has two college-aged children and shares their home with two dogs.

When she’s not working, Garner is pursuing her Master of Divinity (MDiv), following her long-term passion to one day lead a ministry. Her dedication to service, leadership, and growth—both professionally and personally—shapes everything she does.
