The Role We are hiring a Principal Solutions Architect to define and lead complex AI infrastructure engagements across strategic customers and hyperscale partners.
This is a senior technical leadership role responsible for shaping solution strategy across:
GPU cluster architecture
Backend high‑performance fabrics
Frontend connectivity and peering
Storage and data architectures
Hybrid cloud and hyperscale integrations
You will influence both customer design decisions and Nscale’s internal platform evolution.
What You’ll Do Strategic Customer Engagement
Lead architecture engagements with top‑tier AI labs, enterprises, and hyperscalers.
Advise customers on distributed training scaling strategies and infrastructure tradeoffs.
Shape long‑term infrastructure roadmaps aligned with AI model growth.
End‑to‑End Infrastructure Architecture
Design multi‑rack and multi‑cluster GPU deployments.
Architect backend networking fabrics optimized for AI collective communication.
Define frontend networking models for secure, high‑bandwidth customer connectivity.
Design storage architectures optimized for training data throughput and checkpointing.
Evaluate compute density, power constraints, and operational scalability.
Act as Nscale’s technical authority in hyperscaler engagements.
Align Nscale’s infrastructure models with cloud interconnect standards.
Influence joint reference architectures and partnership designs.
Platform & Product Influence
Provide structured feedback into Nscale’s infrastructure roadmap.
Identify recurring architectural patterns and productize them.
Define architectural standards and reusable blueprints.
Partner with engineering to validate next‑generation platform capabilities.
Commercial & Executive Alignment
Contribute to complex deal strategy with technical authority.
Help quantify performance and cost tradeoffs for customers.
What We’re Looking For Required
10+ years in infrastructure architecture, HPC, AI platforms, or hyperscale environments.
Deep expertise in GPU‑based cluster design.
Strong knowledge of backend networking (InfiniBand, RoCE, Ethernet fabrics).
Strong understanding of frontend networking and connectivity models.
Experience designing storage systems for AI workloads.
Proven ability to engage executive‑level technical stakeholders.
Preferred
Experience working directly with hyperscalers or large AI labs.
Experience influencing product or platform roadmaps.
Strong systems‑level thinking across compute, networking, and storage.
Experience modeling capacity planning and large‑scale AI deployments.
