As an Asset Protection Team Lead you will perform various leadership, asset protection, and safety functions, to include training, investigations, report reviews, audit processes, compliance, operation of security systems/equipment, and ensuring a safe and secure environment. Major Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure a safe and secure environment for people and property in and around the distribution center, trailer yard and offices
Enforce building access guidelines
Train and coach the team to successfully fulfill their duties
Interact with Burlington associates, executives and vendor representatives in a professional manner, providing quick attention to answer questions and find solutions
Use and maintain a working camera surveillance system completing necessary testing, updates and record keeping
Administer building card access system, create badges, grant access and conduct audits on access points as needed
Audit yard reports and assist with end‑of‑month audits
Conduct investigations and accurately document findings
Assist in fire drills, safety inspections, and other tasks designed to maintain a high level of protection and safety
Provide support to the AP Supervisor by monitoring and addressing team's performance
Licenses / Certification / Registration
Valid driver's license for use of company security vehicle
Experience
1‑3 years of asset protection or related experience
Skills and Abilities
Exceptional organization skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work activity based on need
Strong interpersonal interaction, with a courteous and professional demeanor
Applies attention to detail, takes initiative, and has follow‑through skills
Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Yard Management, and Outlook
Physical Requirements Include the ability to lift and move boxes weighing 50lbs. or more and the ability to stand for extended periods of time. It is Burlington's policy to provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals in accordance with applicable laws.
