Overview Job Title: Account Executive
Department: Sales
Reporting To: General Sales Manager
Employment Type: Full‑time
Location: Minneapolis
Audacy is a leading audio content and entertainment company with over 220+ radio stations, premium podcasts, and digital experiences reaching more than 200 million listeners each month. In the Twin Cities office, the Account Executive will represent a multi‑media, multi‑platform portfolio including three major over‑the‑air brands (830 WCCO, 104.1 JACK FM, 102.9 The Wolf), Audacy streaming audio, the world’s second‑largest podcast network, extensive digital marketing assets, OTT, unique sponsorship opportunities, an e‑commerce platform, and original video/audio content.
Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with advertisers to ensure their success and repeat business.
Develop new business through prospecting, networking, and leveraging all advertising and marketing assets.
Continuously learn and train on new assets and marketing techniques.
Create marketing campaigns and strategically sell to local and regional decision makers.
Close deals and oversee execution of marketing campaigns, exceeding client expectations.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Achieve sales objectives and goals while maintaining an accurate sales funnel.
Consistently update CRM with client interactions and opportunities.
Stay current with industry trends, opportunities, and innovations.
Qualifications
Proven success in selling media, event/sponsorship sales, and digital platforms.
Track record of exceeding sales goals.
Thorough understanding of advertising and marketing across digital, audio, and interactive channels.
Creative mindset to design unique campaigns focused on solving client needs.
Strong problem‑solving skills; views problems as business opportunities.
Proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite.
Will be trained and expected to use Salesforce (CRM), Wide Orbit (Order Entry), and vCreative (creative copy production & spot placement).
Self‑motivation is essential.
College graduate preferred.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record check; proof of insurance if using personal vehicle.
