
1099 Independent Sales Representative – Florida Territory

DIFF Eyewear is seeking a motivated and results-driven 1099 Independent Contractor Sales Representative to manage and grow sales throughout the state of Florida. This role is responsible for achieving territory sales goals and executing initiatives that increase product sell-through at retail locations. The ideal candidate will focus on training, merchandising, and event execution to drive product visibility, brand awareness, and overall sales performance across the Florida market. This is a commission-based independent contractor position covering the Florida territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed assigned sales targets throughout Florida. Identify and open new retail accounts across key Florida markets. Drive reorder business and maintain consistent sales growth within existing accounts. Training & Education
Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for retail staff to enhance product knowledge and selling techniques. Ensure retail partners fully understand DIFF’s brand story, key product features, and promotional initiatives. Implement merchandising best practices to maximize product visibility and optimize in-store presentation. Maintain brand standards and seasonal updates across all Florida retail partners. Secure premium placement opportunities when possible. Events & Activations
Plan and execute in-store events, trunk shows, and promotional activations throughout Florida to increase consumer engagement. Support store openings and seasonal campaigns with on-site representation as needed. Trade Shows/Markets Market Insights & Territory Development
Monitor Florida market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback. Identify opportunities for expansion and provide actionable insights to leadership. Channel of Trade: Non-Optical / Sun-Only

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and territory performance. Provide regular updates, forecasts, and performance reports to management. Demonstrate proactive selling techniques and strong closing skills. Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners statewide. Manage time efficiently across a geographically diverse territory. Represent DIFF Eyewear professionally and consistently within the Florida market. Qualifications:
Prior sales experience, preferably within eyewear, accessories, fashion, or consumer goods. Existing retail relationships within Florida strongly preferred. Strong presentation and training abilities. Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset. Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Florida. Compensation:
Commission-based compensation structure. Earnings are directly tied to individual sales performance and territory growth within Florida. DIFF Eyewear is looking to partner with an independent sales professional who understands the Florida market and is passionate about building strong retail relationships and driving measurable results.
