Outside Sales - Account Manager (Sacramento Central Area)
$50,000 - $65,000 a year
The Sweis Beauty Brands Outside Sales Representative/Account Manager is responsible for achieving the sales objectives of exclusive professional hair care and beauty brands. This is a 100% commissions-based position with a guaranteed draw, in the Sacramento Central area. Local Sacramento Central area residents with B2B outside sales experience in the beauty industry are encouraged to apply.
No relocation offered with this position.
The successful candidate will:
Present state of the art professional products and promotions with direct knowledge demonstrating expertise in the beauty industry
Must be able to be in the field, daily, Monday through Friday
Must be able to effectively communicate technical and business education representing the brand professionally face-to-face interaction
Able to execute strategies to help our clients grow their business
Must be able to act as a business partner and trusted resource to our clients
Must be able to service our clients with the tools needed to ensure the complete satisfaction of each and every one of ourcustomer
Job Requirements:
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate should have knowledge of the hair care and beauty industry and a strong commitment to customer service.
Minimum two years outside sales experience, preferably in the hair care industry or beauty industry
A documented track record of achieving sales goals
Outstanding interpersonal skills, must be able to work well with all levels of company staffers and establish healthy relationships with clients
Effective communication, comfortable with public speaking
Passionate about being part of a team in a fast-paced culture
Must be able to follow policies and procedures including manufacturer representatives who often ride along with sales representatives
Must be detail oriented, able to adequately manage multiple projects, initiatives and objectives from start to finish compliantly
Must be Microsoft Office proficient and social media platforms savvy
Must own reliable transportation, a good standing driving record - territory in the Sacramento Central area.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires extensive travel by car in the assigned area 95% of the work week, face-to-face interaction with clients. Schedule is Monday through Friday, required in the field, with the occasional Sunday for weekend for sales events, education, and sales meetings.
Required lifting of boxes, promotional materials and products may be up to 25 pounds with some bending, extensive walking and standing during store/ salon visits.
