What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Utilize telephone, direct mail, and local marketing programs to prospect for new clients and referral sources
Schedule and conduct meetings with new prospects through calls and targeted email campaigns
Present payroll products and services to decision‑makers to educate them and convert them into clients
Complete and submit accurate new business paperwork and weekly activity reports to assist with sales forecasting
Analyze customer needs to recommend appropriate products and expedite resolution of customer issues
What is Required (Qualifications)
High School Diploma required
2 years of experience in relevant sales or marketing
Strong understanding of sales techniques and customer relationship management
Ability to work under pressure and maintain ethical standards
Experience with sales forecasting and presentations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree
Experience in sales prospecting and marketing strategies
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar customer relationship management software
Knowledge of go‑to‑market strategies and market share analysis
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
