About the Internship The

Marketing Intern

role provides hands‑on experience supporting our Business Development, Preconstruction, and Marketing teams. This internship focuses on assisting with the proposal lifecycle, CRM workflows, data organization, and marketing coordination that support project pursuits.

Interns will gain exposure to how marketing, business development, and preconstruction collaborate to win work in the commercial construction industry. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented student interested in marketing operations, data management, and proposal development within a fast‑paced professional environment.

Assigned M&F Mentor with monthly check‑ins, jobsite visits, Town Halls, and company events. End‑of‑summer presentation reflecting on experiences, key learnings, and career goals

What You’ll Do: As a Marketing Intern, you’ll support both proposal development and operational workflows across multiple departments:

Assist in coordinating and assembling RFQ, RFP, and SOQ responses while helping ensure deadlines and requirements are met

Support Business Development and Preconstruction teams with pursuit calendars, task tracking, and content updates

Track active pursuits, interviews, and deliverables while assisting with follow‑ups and documentation

Help prepare interview materials including presentation decks and logistics coordination

Assist with maintaining accurate CRM data for leads, opportunities, pursuits, and client relationships

Support scheduling, bid calendars, proposal checklists, and internal review meetings

Assist with communications related to bid solicitations and RFP requirements

Help organize project documents, addenda, and proposal materials

Maintain project folders, proposal archives, and trade partner databases

Format and organize project documents to meet proposal and project delivery standards

Assist Marketing and Business Development with CRM‑driven email campaigns and client engagement tracking

Who We’re Looking For:

Students pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Construction Management, or related field

Strong interest in marketing, business development, or commercial construction

Detail‑oriented, organized, and eager to learn

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Comfortable learning new software and digital systems

Proactive, “can‑do” mindset with a strong work ethic

Requirements

Currently enrolled in 2- or 4‑year college, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or Construction Management or related field.

Reliable transportation and the ability to work at the Fort Worth office during the duration of the internship

Strong writing, editing, and formatting skills

High personal accountability and a “do what it takes” attitude
