Job Overview As an Aftermarket Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for a range of support activities for the surface mining Aftermarket Marketing team. This team is responsible for executing the tasks that will successfully drive our digital transformation and new e-commerce customer buying experience. This intern position will assist Product Managers and/or Marketing Managers focus on detailed analysis and/or projects required for the strategic growth of their assigned parts commodities and/or projects. It will be a good introduction to aftermarket product management.
This position will be based onsite at our South Harbor location in Milwaukee's Harbor District! The target start date for this role is Summer 2026 and has potential to be extended into the Fall 2026 school semester. We offer full-time hours during the summer and flexible part-time hours during the academic year.
Key Job Responsibilities
Support the implementation of Komatsu's Digital Transformation, including our fleet, e-commerce and product information databases
Drive data enrichment strategies for e-commerce, focusing on enhancing data accuracy
Create high-quality product renderings to assist with the customer buying experience on e-commerce platforms
Assist in new product development testing and bug fixing of live production environments
Manage user administration systems and work to increase user acceptance
Qualifications/Requirements
Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Business, Management or Marketing, or similar, from an accredited college or university
Sophomore, or Junior level student in good academic standing
Previous classroom and/or work experience in one or more of the following areas: Product Marketing, Product Management, B2B Marketing, International Marketing, Marketing Management, Entrepreneurship preferred
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team towards a goal
Excellent organization and personal time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Possess effective problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to be creative and resourceful when needed
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Interest in or aptitude to learn about careers in the heavy equipment industry preferred
