This role reports into our Specialty Chemical Distribution (SCD) Division located in Germantown, WI.

You will process the most complex and high value sales orders. You will respond to inquiries regarding moderately complex products, customers and orders. Works closely with Engineering Sales Representatives and Sales Management on meeting and supporting customer needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinates the most complex and/or high value customer orders from beginning to end

Manages order cycle from order acceptance to shipping confirmation on customer hosted websites and portals

Reviews and responds to internal and external customer requests in various communication platforms and communication channels

Evaluates and escalates urgency of customer requests within appropriate internal departments

Provides product availability, pricing, order management details and other requested documentation

Reviews Request for Quote (RFQ) and Purchase Orders (PO) while working in multiple software platforms

Reviews and acts on unapproved orders, expiring quotations, customer credit and return (RMA) requests and order required date portals

Partners with outside sales representatives as it relates to territory and business development

Coordinates order logistics and requirements with Distribution Centers

QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of Inside Sales, Account Management and/or Customer Service or other related industrial experience and/or training

Associate’s degree (college or technical) in a related field preferred

Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in Google Docs and/or Microsoft Office

Very strong customer service skills

Thorough and attentive to details

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated sense of urgency

Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across departments

Proven ability to take initiative

Very good negotiation and problem-solving skills

Successful business acumen skills

Ability to effectively manage time
