Position Overview The Institutional and Specialty Sales (ISS) team is gearing up to lead the launch activities for our groundbreaking cardiovascular-renal portfolio. As a Cardiovascular Solutions Consultant, you will be pivotal in driving demand, providing comprehensive clinical education, and executing targeted sales strategies for high-priority institutions, cardiologists, and nephrologists across institutional and community settings. You will report to the CVR Area General Manager (AGM) and work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Market Access, and Patient Services, to achieve optimal outcomes for U.S. Pharma. This position is based in the Santa Monica / Beverly Hills, CA area, with travel up to 50% required within the territory. Key Responsibilities Drive clinical demand, education, and sales by effectively communicating the unique benefits of assigned products to healthcare professionals and stakeholders, while maintaining a focus on safety and efficacy. Build support within institutions to encourage the adoption and appropriate use of cardiovascular-renal products. Develop and implement strategic business plans tailored for key strategic institutions, utilizing your understanding of local market dynamics. Exhibit deep expertise in cardiovascular and/or renal therapeutic areas and stay updated on marketplace trends, competitor activities, and regulatory guidelines. Establish and nurture key business relationships with prioritized customers, including executives, heads of pharmacy quality at institutions, as well as cardiologists and nephrologists. Manage the Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) committee processes within priority institutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build strategic partnerships with key customers. Support Area General Managers with important strategic projects as needed. Embrace emerging technologies to enhance your performance and seek continuous improvement. Maintain compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations and uphold high ethical standards in all activities. Who You Are Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience in lieu of a degree. In-depth expertise in cardiovascular and/or renal therapeutic areas. Experience in launching new products and product indications. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Compliance with customer credentialing and safety requirements. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a business-related field. Five years of successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales experience. Experience selling in institutional and clinic settings with knowledge of the P&T committee process. Familiarity with establishing and implementing in-patient to outpatient treatment protocols. Your compensation will include a base salary ranging from $120,960 to $181,462, along with potential bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, and sick leave.
