Employee Relations Specialist (Spanish Required)

Regal Boats is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team as an Employee Relations Specialist. The Employee Relations Specialist will work alongside the TMS Manager to provide HR-related support to manufacturing team members, including pay and benefits, conflict resolution, enforcing and improving company policies and practices, and assisting with performance evaluations and with disciplinary action counseling. This position will also consist of HR Operations such as, workforce planning, data analysis, and benefits administration. Key responsibilities include: Performing routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs, including but not limited to: compensation, benefits, and leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, and training and development. Arranging meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and company managers when necessary. Maintaining and ensuring compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations. Regularly visiting the manufacturing buildings to ensure team members and their leaders are supported and assisted with TMS-related functions. Handling employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Attending and participating in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Performing other related duties as assigned. Required qualifications include: Bilingual English/Spanish Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced computer skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines as it relates to event planning and execution. Strong empathy and interpersonal skills Highly familiar with HR-related functions such as data analysis, benefits administration, and performance evaluations. AA or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. Proficient in Google and Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. At least one year of human resources experience. Conversational English. Preferred qualifications include: Master's degree in Human Resources or related fields. Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines. Manufacturing or marine industry experience. SHRM-CP is a plus. This job operates in a professional office environment. This is a fully onsite role, five days a week. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be regularly sitting at a desk and working on a computer for prolonged periods of time. The employee is frequently required to go into non climate-controlled manufacturing facilities to connect with and assist management and team members with HR related issues. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 15 pounds.
