The Opportunity This position is part of a sales team focused on the psychiatry space, responsible for the performance of a long‑acting injectable therapy for schizophrenia and promoting our existing psychiatry products in the Little Rock, Arkansas area. The Sales Specialist delivers results through compliance and ethical conduct, aligning resources with Teva’s objectives, upholding company culture, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires analytical insight, effective communication, and the ability to navigate various care settings.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
Achieve all sales performance goals and objectives for the geographical assignment.
Demonstrate a collaborative sales approach and coordinate efforts between sales leadership, other sales teams, market access, sales operations, and training.
Develop effective business plans to meet and exceed territory‑level sales goals, including identifying key opportunities in different care settings.
Build rapport and maintain relationships by interacting effectively with healthcare professionals and office staff at all levels.
Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in‑servicing to current and prospective customers.
Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide patient education.
Maintain a call average as outlined in the sales plan, focusing on top target customers.
Apply creative problem‑solving techniques to improve performance and company effectiveness.
Adhere to all Teva compliance policies and guidelines.
Current Territory Boundaries Include
All markets south of Little Rock, encompassing the southern region of Arkansas and designated ZIP codes in Texas.
Territory boundaries are subject to change based on business needs.
Your Experience And Qualifications Along with a results‑oriented mindset, self‑assurance, and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:
Education/Certification/Experience
Bachelor’s degree required.
Pharmaceutical sales experience preferred; experience in psychiatric therapeutic areas strongly preferred.
Record of successfully achieving sales goals and building effective customer relationships.
Experience successfully launching products in the psychiatric space across multiple care settings.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Ability to interact with customers in live and virtual environments and proficiency with technology.
Understanding of reimbursement coverage and pull‑through strategies in all relevant settings (CMHC, specialty pharmacy, private practice).
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing; proven written and verbal communication skills.
Experience calling on community mental health centers is a plus.
Travel flexibility, including overnight and weekend travel.
Valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Success in passing background, motor, and drug screening.
Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
Sales Specialist Levels Full‑time documented B2B sales experience determines role level.
Sales Specialist: Minimum 1 year.
Executive Sales Specialist: Minimum 7 years.
