
Reservations Sales Specialist

About the Role
A well‑established international travel company is expanding its US operations and is seeking a driven, customer‑focused Reservations Agent with a passion for sales and travel. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers booking cruise and land vacation packages, delivering exceptional service while achieving strong sales performance.
For high performers, there may be opportunities for international travel to one of the company’s global offices.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound sales calls, understand customer needs, and build rapport. Recommend cruise and land vacation packages tailored to customer preferences. Deliver high‑quality customer engagement and effectively close sales. Consistently meet or exceed KPIs (conversion rate, call quality, data capture, margins). Prepare detailed and accurate quotes and cost calculations. Complete all booking administration with precision and attention to detail. Work collaboratively within a small US team and larger global reservations function. Follow all call‑center compliance requirements, including FTC and state regulations. Skills & Experience
Travel industry experience required
(full training provided). Sales experience essential ; call‑center experience is a plus. Strong communication and listening skills. Proven ability to achieve and exceed KPIs. Confident understanding of basic business finance (P&L, margins). Highly organized, resilient, and motivated by results. Ability to adapt communication style based on customer needs. Flexible availability including weekends and extended hours. Comfortable using Excel, Word, Outlook, and online research tools.
