
Account Manager

The Account Manager is responsible for the development of new and repeat business from companies in the Manufacturing and STEM business sectors with leads from the organizations telemarketing efforts and individual prospecting, including networking and lead exchange with professional, local, county and state organizations. Responsible for the presentation and sale of the organizations training and consulting services within New Jersey.
What the Account Manager is responsible for:
Develop customer relationships within your defined territory to ensure the sales and business development growth of the organizations and deliver value to our manufacturing customer base.
Time and client management to include weekly time sheets, daily calendar, proposal writing, lead follow-up, sales planning and forecasting.
Prospecting and networking for leads to achieve new business and achieve 20% new client penetration. Completion of Sales Reports and other reporting requirements to measure and manage organizational goal achievement.
Ensures completion of all Monthly Key Performance Indicators.
Follows the organization’s Engagement Cycle, together with all Sales Policies & Procedures.
Establishes sales pipeline to ensure sales goals of bookings/billings/retained margins are achieved on a Monthly/Quarterly/Half Yearly/Full Year basis.
Responsible for project management for all your client projects.
Responsible for Salesforce reporting and other internal reporting requirements.
Participate in and support the organization’s annual events.
Ensures long‑term growth‑based customer relationships and ensures the credibility and value add of engagement with the organizations consulting and training services.
Other business requirements to ensure overall success of all goals, KPI’s and NJM the organizations EP business requirements.
What experience we are looking for:
7+ years of experience in Sales/Business Management
4+ years of experience in Manufacturing
Ability to act as a liaison with outside agencies (employers, apprentices, USDOL)
Basic Management background & skills
Must demonstrate efficiency with computers and technology.
Timely report(s) and compliance submission(s)
Achieve sales goals and outcomes (individual and PEN Team)
Travel activity mostly in NJ >75%
Ability to travel to Morris County, NJ office at least 1/month
