As a Senior Principal Solutions Architect for OCI Media Services, you will play a critical role in our technical leadership team, focusing on groundbreaking cloud-native solutions that pave the way for innovation. Your expertise will be key in driving OCI's adoption, designing impactful solutions, mentoring junior architects, and ensuring seamless integrations with third-party ecosystems. As a Senior Architect, you will work in close collaboration with the Lead Solution Architect to shape the technical strategy, optimize complex deployments, and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients and partners. Your specialized knowledge of M&E workflows, particularly in Broadcast, combined with your cloud infrastructure experience, will empower you to accelerate customer migrations and enhance OCI's position as an industry leader. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership:

Serve as a subject matter expert on M&E cloud solutions, providing guidance to ISVs and customers on best practices for OCI integrations, performance optimization, and scalable architecture development. Advanced Solution Design:

Architect and document valuable, repeatable solutions like IP transformation and remote production, combining OCI services with partner technologies for maximum impact. ISV & Partner Enablement:

Lead technical engagements with essential ISVs, ensuring their solutions are fully optimized for OCI while addressing complex integration issues. Customer Acceleration:

Collaborate with Strategic Customer Engineering (SCE) and sales teams to design and implement mission-critical workflows for enterprise customers, facilitating smooth and successful large-scale migrations. Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing:

Coach and mentor less experienced architects and contribute to internal technical enablement initiatives, promoting consistency in solution design within the team. Voice of the Customer:

Advocate for customer and ISV interests by providing structured feedback to OCI product teams, influencing roadmap priorities and closing critical gaps. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in technical roles (Solutions Architecture, Consulting, or Engineering) with deep knowledge of media workflows (broadcast, production, distribution, or gaming) paired with cloud infrastructure expertise. Proven cloud proficiency in OCI, AWS, or Azure with a strong emphasis on OCI, covering key areas such as compute, storage, networking, security, and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures. Hands-on experience with M&E technologies (like media codecs, transcoding, storage systems, DRM, CDNs) and familiarity with key ISV solutions in this space. Strong leadership capabilities, with skills in influencing stakeholders and fostering collaboration across engineering, product, and sales teams. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, experienced in troubleshooting complex issues and developing resilient, high-performance cloud solutions. Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex technical ideas to diverse audiences, including executives and technical professionals. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Compensation: The hiring range for this role is between $96,800 and $251,600 per annum, depending on various factors including experience and location.
