WARE Sales Support/Customer Service Representative
Quabbin Wire & Cable, a mid‑sized manufacturer of electronic cable products located in Ware, MA, is searching for another awesome team member! We offer a stable, friendly and professional environment with opportunities to learn and develop your career. You will play a key role in our success by helping customers in a technical environment.
Responsibilities You will interact via phone and email with a variety of internal and external contacts to promote products, quote and negotiate prices, process orders and help meet customer needs. You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team to support sales goals (no quotas) and deliver excellent customer service. The job location is in our Ware office (not remote).
Qualifications
Associate’s degree or equivalent business experience in areas of marketing or business.
Customer service experience, preferably in a business‑to‑business sales environment.
Excellent oral communication skills, solid business writing skills and an accuracy mindset.
Ability to promote/sell technical products (training provided).
Solid math skills; proficient with calculations.
Strong attendance, punctuality and productivity.
Computer literate and proficient with MS Office software.
Availability to work a standard 40‑hr schedule, from 8am to 5pm.
Experience with contact management software is desirable.
Familiarity with the cable industry, basic electronics and/or related product knowledge is a plus.
Additional Information This is a full‑time, on‑site 40‑hour position. Standard office hours are 8 am‑5 pm Monday‑Friday.
