About The Role We are seeking a highly organized, analytically minded intern to support a strategic initiative focused on identifying franchise-based customers and uncovering expansion opportunities within franchise networks. This is a 10 week long program starting Summer 2026.

This role is data-intensive and ideal for someone who enjoys working with large datasets, synthesizing information into clear insights, and using modern tools—including AI—to drive business recommendations. The intern will play a meaningful role in helping us better understand our franchise footprint and where we can expand within multi-location organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze customer data to identify franchise-based businesses within our existing customer base

Research franchise structures, parent-child relationships, and multi-location ownership models

Build and maintain organized tracking documents of franchise systems and expansion potential

Identify whitespace opportunities within franchise networks

Create executive-ready summaries and visual presentations of findings

Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to assist with research, data structuring, synthesis, and summarization

Collaborate with marketing, sales, and strategy stakeholders to validate findings and refine outputs

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and documentation throughout the project

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar field

Analytical & Organizational Skills

Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large datasets and multiple research threads simultaneously

Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on structured projects

Required/Preferred Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Pivot tables

VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

Data cleansing and formatting

Basic data analysis functions

Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint

Ability to build clear, concise, executive-level slides

Translate data into visual summaries and insights

Comfort and competence using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for:

Research acceleration

Data summarization

Structured thinking and organization

Drafting summaries and insights
