Schedule Wednesday through Sunday, PM shifts.

Summary Greets customers as they enter the restaurant, takes reservations or puts them on the waitlist, gives them menus, and shows them to their seats. Responsible for quickly and accurately delivering orders from the kitchen to guests at the restaurant. Handles phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant and menu, and assists various restaurant staff when necessary. Ensures that tables are clean, set, and ready for guests, and maintains a clean and organized dining area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greets customers with a friendly and warm personable demeanor.

Team player.

Effective communicator.

Maintains composure when dealing with disgruntled guests.

Highly organized to properly maintain seating charts and seat customers in order of arrival or by appointment.

Seats guests and hands out menus.

Quickly and accurately delivers food orders from the kitchen to customers.

Answers the phone to take reservations and respond to questions.

Sets and clears tables in a timely manner, ensuring each table is clean and properly set with utensils, condiments, and other necessary items.

Assists servers with food and beverage service, delivering food and drinks to tables, and clearing plates and glasses.

Ensures dining area is clean and organized at all times, including cleaning spills and maintaining tidy appearance.

Communicates with kitchen staff and servers to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly to guests.

Handles customer complaints and special requests professionally and courteously.

Follows all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling and disposal of food, and use of cleaning chemicals.

Supports Food & Beverage teams by providing assistance in various areas as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Must be dressed neatly and well‑groomed in company‑approved uniform at all times.

Must be able to operate P.O.S. computer, make change correctly, and process credit card transactions accurately.

Must be able to read and write notes to hearing‑impaired guests.

Must be able to pass server validation.

Able to pass a drug test for illegal substances.

Must maintain current Food Handler Card and OLCC Service Permit.

Must pass any required certifications, licenses, registrations.
