What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Deliver a high-quality patient experience through effective inbound and outbound call resolution

Manage inquiries via multiple communication channels using EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech

Review and interpret patient statements, explanation of benefits, and account balances

Utilize healthcare industry knowledge to assist with patient inquiries and account resolution

Research and source information rapidly to address patient concerns in a fast-paced environment

What is Required (Qualifications)

High school diploma or GED

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare call center environment

Experience with medical claims, denials, and insurance-related inquiries

Familiarity with EMR systems and healthcare terminology

Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience with EPIC or similar Electronic Medical Records systems

Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and PCI

Previous experience in patient-focused customer service roles

Ability to thrive in a high call volume environment

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
