
Oracle Cloud Consultant - Retail Solutions

Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Oracle Cloud Consultant with extensive knowledge of the retail sector to lead the development, implementation, and enhancement of Oracle Cloud solutions. This role is vital for driving innovation and business growth in addressing modern retail challenges, including supply chain transformation and enhanced customer experiences.
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise with Oracle Cloud modules such as Oracle Retail Cloud, ERP, SCM, and CX, and demonstrate a strong understanding of how cloud technology can revolutionize retail operations, enhance agility, and drive innovation.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Strategic Growth Enablement
Work collaboratively with internal teams and client stakeholders to define Oracle-based solutions that align with retail growth strategies, including expansion into e-commerce and global markets.
Utilize Oracle Cloud to uncover revenue opportunities, streamline operations, and improve real-time decision-making capabilities.
Innovation & Offerings Development Develop new offerings and accelerators that leverage Oracle Cloud capabilities to tackle key retail challenges such as real-time inventory management and demand forecasting.
Create reusable assets, templates, and industry accelerators to support effective market strategies.
Industry & Client Engagement Lead workshops and discovery sessions with retail clients to showcase the value propositions of Oracle Cloud.
Translate business requirements into scalable and effective Oracle Cloud solutions.
Stay informed on Oracle Cloud product updates and new features, advising clients on how best to implement them according to their growth strategy.
Ensure adherence to best practices throughout the design, development, and implementation phases.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with sales, product teams, and delivery partners to shape proposals and strategic solution roadmaps.
Support pre-sales initiatives by offering domain expertise and insights into Oracle Cloud during RFPs, demos, and client discussions.
This position can be performed from anywhere in the US. Required Technical and Professional Expertise 15+ years of experience in implementing Oracle Cloud solutions, ideally in the CPG sector.
5+ years of focused experience with Oracle Cloud solutions within the retail industry.
Hands-on familiarity with Oracle Retail Cloud Services, ERP Cloud, SCM Cloud, or CX Cloud.
Strong understanding of a variety of retail business models including brick-and-mortar, e-commerce, and omnichannel.
Proven capability to convert business objectives into technical solutions utilizing Oracle Cloud.
Experience leading cross-functional teams through full project lifecycles.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Oracle Cloud Certifications in Retail, SCM, ERP, or CX.
Familiarity with agile and iterative implementation methodologies.
