As a Grocery Order Fulfillment Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the highest quality products for their online orders. This is an opportunity to contribute to an efficient and enjoyable shopping experience, where your efforts enhance customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for gathering orders, managing payments and coupons, and loading orders into customers' vehicles upon their arrival. Your Responsibilities Create a delightful shopping experience that focuses on product variety, freshness, and cleanliness. Adhere to all relevant laws, food safety standards, and company policies. Efficiently receive and store orders, maintaining optimal temperature guidelines. Select items for customer online orders accurately and swiftly. Follow special instructions from customers to ensure their satisfaction. Ensure selected items meet our quality and freshness standards. Maintain open communication with customers using a portable phone to provide prompt and professional support. Accurately retrieve and load each customer's order for a smooth pick-up experience. Utilize the point of sale (POS) system to process orders efficiently. Handle out-of-stock situations by recommending suitable substitutions according to company policy. Scan and bag items while following proper bagging practices. Communicate any order changes or substitutions during pick-up. Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized. Report pricing, scanning, or product location issues to the e-Commerce supervisor. Regularly inspect equipment and report any repair needs to management. Follow opening and closing procedures as required. Be open to learning and adapting to new processes and technologies. Assist in onboarding and training new e-Commerce team members. Meet or exceed established productivity standards. Thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure. Handle conflicts constructively and contribute to a cooperative team spirit. Act with integrity in managing sensitive customer and business information. Seek assistance when needed to resolve issues. Support a diverse range of customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults. Perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Ability to work independently without close supervision. Capability to efficiently read shelf tags. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction). Desired Qualifications: Experience in a production-oriented environment, such as warehouse or retail settings.
