The Associate Overlay Trader has general knowledge of trading strategies. This individual has a basic understanding of the managed accounts business, including wrap programs, wrap trading. The primary responsibilities include preparing new accounts for trading, contributions and withdrawals, liquidations, restriction monitoring, and tax selling. This role is also responsible for account-level maintenance. This person works closely with other teams such as Reconciliation, Settlements, and Client Service teams to resolve account-related issues. Process client withdrawals and deposits.

Prepare trades for new accounts, style changes, and various account-level activity.

Process termination

Process tax-harvesting requests

Model changes

Communicate trading restrictions as needed

Maintain trading records

Maintain audit, and reconcile models

Run, generate, and maintain reporting

Contribute to general risk management, improvement in execution, knowledge development, and cross-training efforts

What Experience Youll Need: Bachelors degree

1+ years of related experience, including:

General market knowledge

Attention to detail/high level of accuracy

Risk awareness and strict attention to procedural adherence

Ability to handle deadlines, work efficiently in critical situations

Demonstrated ability to understand applicable regulatory issues and generally regulatory landscape

Notes:

Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026. Before June 1, 2026, they are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday. Current INTERNAL home-based associates:
