Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Level 3 Principal or Level 4 Senior Principal Proposal Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Melbourne, FL. Analyst will support efforts associated with proposal development, planning and scheduling during the supplier acquisition process. Will perform cost estimating/pricing related duties and analysis in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Will coordinate with functional departments to facilitate the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements and research and analyze historical data and develop cost models to support proposal efforts. Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings and in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives. This position may be hired at either the Level 3 (Principal) or Level 4 (Sr Principal) depending upon candidate qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. Basic Qualifications for Principal Proposal Analyst (Level 3):

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in relevant roles including quantitative/analytical responsibilities; or Master's degree with 3 years of stated experience. Must have a solid understanding of project management and/or cost estimation principles Must have knowledge of industry-specific standards and practices related to proposal development (e.g. FAR, DFARs, etc.) Must have experience with developing and analyzing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and BOE.Next Strong Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel); Working knowledge of intermediate Excel concepts, including pivot tables, formulas, or other advanced features Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance. Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Proposal Analyst (Level 4):

Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience in relevant roles including quantitative/analytical responsibilities; or Master's degree with 6 years of stated experience. Must have a solid understanding of project management and/or cost estimation principles Must have knowledge of industry-specific standards and practices related to proposal development (e.g. FAR, DFARs, etc.) Must have experience with developing and analyzing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and BOE.Next Strong Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel); Working knowledge of intermediate Excel concepts, including pivot tables, formulas, or other advanced features Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
