At Hike, we’re on a mission to make sure everyone has access to the care they need to move better and live pain‑free. Our platform automates every step of the care journey—from patient intake and eligibility verification to clinician notes and claims—combining smart technology with deep clinical expertise to remove the friction that keeps people from getting the support they need.

The Role: We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our growing design team. You’ll work across Hike’s product suite, designing thoughtful, systems‑based solutions for both our clinician partners and direct‑to‑consumer products. You’ll own the design process end‑to‑end, collaborate closely with Product and Engineering, and help shape the standards and culture of a design team that’s building something genuinely new. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast‑moving, AI‑first environment, comfortable navigating ambiguity, setting the bar for quality, and influencing product direction at every level.

What You’ll Do:

Ship some of the best design work of your career across complex, multi‑surface products that directly impact people’s health.

Own design end‑to‑end: gather requirements with Product, iterate on visuals, and guide Engineering through implementation.

Work in an AI‑first environment, using modern tooling to move faster and smarter.

Collaborate with design and product leadership on strategic direction and long‑term vision.

Champion Hike’s Design Principles and Experience Pillars—and bring other designers and engineers along with you.

Help build and evolve a design culture that the whole company believes in.

The Experience:

5+ years designing both desktop and mobile applications—ideally in complex, compliance‑driven industries.

Excellent process thinking and knowing when to apply and when not.

Experience with problem framing and collaboration workshops.

Deep experience with Design Systems and a clear understanding of when to use, push, and evolve them.

Fluent in Figma, from early explorations to high‑fidelity prototypes ready for engineering handoff.

Familiar with a broader suite of design tools, Adobe Creative Suite, Pitch.

The Craft:

Strong design, creative and visual skills.

Delivers the right artifacts at the right time, without over‑engineering or cutting corners.

Familiar with vibe coding tools like Cursor, Lovable, or genuinely excited to learn.

A strong communicator who proactively seeks feedback, shares a clear point of view, and brings people along.

A collaborative teammate who gives candid, caring feedback and receives it just as well.

Takes ownership, communicates clearly across teams, and brings leadership along on design decisions.

At ease in a fast‑shipping engineering environment.

Experience designing in technical spaces such as developer tooling, security, infrastructure, or similar.

Bonus if You:

Comfortable with the basics of modern web development (Git, JavaScript, etc.).

Experience taking a design system from creation all the way to deployment.

Familiar with a broader suite of design tools we sometimes collaborate with marketing and growth projects.

What we offer:

Competitive Compensation: Salary + equity package.

Healthcare: Full healthcare coverage.

Growth & Mentorship: We’ll build your path together.

Flexible Time Off: Unlimited PTO + flexible arrangements.

Equipment & WFH Budget: Gear and home office support.
