What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop, execute, and maintain the university's SEO strategy aligned with marketing goals
Partner with copywriters, faculty, and staff to guide keyword targeting and content updates
Conduct SEO audits and analyze content performance for visibility improvements
Monitor AI Overview and GEO visibility, producing reports on traffic and ranking shifts
Collaborate with the Web Developer on technical performance and Core Web Vitals
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field
Minimum of six (6) to ten (10) years of professional experience in SEO, web analytics, or content strategy
Strong understanding of on-page and technical SEO, including metadata and link architecture
Experience with analytics tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, and SEMrush
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across marketing and academic teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Relevant certifications in Google Analytics, Search Console, or SEO strategy tools
Familiarity with AI-driven visibility reporting and Core Web Vitals monitoring
Experience aligning organic and paid search strategies for maximum impact
Knowledge of content development practices and ability to guide SEO-informed content creation
Awareness of evolving AI search trends and algorithm updates
