Mike Sawyer State Farm is seeking a Customer Relations Representative who can deliver outstanding service to our existing clients while identifying ways to strengthen their coverage through additional insurance products.
This is a licensed role (Property & Casualty and Life & Health required). If you’re not yet licensed, you must be willing to obtain both—our agency provides full support and paid training.
Role Overview As a Customer Relations Representative, you’ll be a trusted point of contact for many of our clients. You’ll build relationships, resolve concerns, and ensure each customer feels informed and valued. Alongside daily service and policy maintenance, you’ll engage in in‑book sales conversations—helping clients understand coverage options that support their long‑term security and peace of mind.
This position is ideal for someone who is empathetic, organized, and relationship‑focused, with the confidence to introduce products that genuinely support client needs and agency growth.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Exceptional Service:
Address client inquiries, policy changes, billing concerns, and general service requests with professionalism and accuracy.
Strengthen Customer Relationships:
Conduct routine policy reviews to confirm clients have the right protection in place.
Drive In‑Book Sales:
Identify coverage gaps and present additional insurance options within existing customer accounts.
Support Daily Agency Operations:
Process updates, follow up on claims, and maintain accurate customer records.
Collaborate as a Team:
Work closely with colleagues to achieve retention, service, and growth goals.
Qualifications
Strong communication, active listening, and problem‑solving abilities.
A genuine desire to help others, paired with a proactive and sales‑minded approach.
Excellent organization and attention to detail.
Prior customer service, insurance, or sales experience preferred.
Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses, or willingness to obtain with agency support.
