Location: New Orleans, LA (On-site - Must work from the office)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year

Description We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Communications Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our organization's voice and messaging. As the Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication plans that effectively convey our mission, programs, and impact to various stakeholders, including partners, donors, and the community.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the organization's mission and objectives

Create, edit, and publish engaging content for various platforms including social media, websites, and newsletters

Coordinate the design and production of marketing and promotional materials

Manage media relations and develop press releases to promote key events and initiatives

Analyze and report on communication metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field

Proven experience in communications, marketing, or public relations roles

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail

Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
