It calls for a motivated and outgoing self-starter who takes a proactive approach to their work and is always looking out for the best interest of their clients.

We’re looking for a planner to join our growing team as our first Social Media Expert. As MiQ continues to expand our success in Programmatic into the Social Media space, this role is an essential piece of the MiQ team structure with a high level of project management involved. Communicating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure we are on task and meeting the needs of our clients and partners.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING As a Sales strategist at MiQ technical ability and industry knowledge play a large role in your day to day responsibilities. In this role you will be accountable for, but not limited to, the following:

Delivery

Craft and deliver accurate and thorough proposals within the RFP deadline.

Accomplishing tasks on time and to a high quality, managing different deadlines and priorities

Internal Collaboration

Partner with Solutions and Trading teams to customize MiQ’s product suite and capabilities to the unique needs of our clients

Working with internal stakeholders, building relationships and working across differences to find solutions

Communication

Clear communication to internal teammates and stakeholders; flexing communication style to influence positive outcomes

Master MiQ product capabilities and stay on the latest industry trends to inform internal and external teams

Strategize with Sales Leads in pre-sale periods to grow and develop existing client business and win

Acting with curiosity to find new ways of working or improvements, open to trying things out.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2 years of advertising technology and/or media planning experience

Experience with Programmatic Advertising is highly preferred.

Experience in planning paid social campaigns is required; Youtube experience is also preferred.

Adept understanding of the advertising industry at large and ability to convey that knowledge to others

Sound understanding of the digital programmatic ecosystem and the vendor-agency-advertiser dynamic

Involvement in a high energy work environment with the ability to deliver on tight deadlines

Proven ability to improve internal processes and share knowledge across internal/external stakeholders

Involvement in a high energy work environment with ability to deliver on tight deadlines

Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal/external team members

Ability to take abstract ideas and translate them into actionable solutions

Detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize projects/tasks simultaneously and to completion

Eager to learn new systems, technologies, and advertising techniques.

Expertise with the Microsoft Office Suite

Pay Transparency For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $60,000-$75,000. This range may vary for positions outside of New York City as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.
