Job Description Summary The Analyst, Credit Operations is responsible for the development, creation, and maintenance of departmental reports related to credit and accounts receivable (AR). This role involves accessing and analyzing data from various systems to support business operations and decision-making. The Analyst collaborates closely with the Director, Managers, and Customer Service teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Key responsibilities include generating weekly, monthly, and year‑end reports, analyzing data trends, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance credit and AR performance.

Job Description This role follows a flexible hybrid schedule - two days per week in the office and three days working from home. This role can be performed from any Breakthru Beverage office location, although preferably from our Linthicum, Maryland office.

Job Responsibilities

Report Development and Maintenance:

Create, develop, and maintain departmental reports for credit and accounts receivable (AR), including ECP operations, cash applications, and SAP customer account categorization.

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability in reporting across all systems.

Data Access and Analysis:

Access and analyze data from multiple systems to support reporting and operational needs, including AR by groups and terms, payment activity (Fintech, FTNI, Elavon, ECP), and Collection Effort Index (CEI).

Evaluate trends in DSO calculations, bad debt, and third‑party collections to identify risks and opportunities.

Collaboration and Communication:

Partner with the Director, Managers, and Customer Service teams to align reporting with organizational goals and objectives.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision‑making and improve departmental performance.

Regular Reporting and Performance Monitoring:

Generate and distribute weekly, monthly, and year‑end reports, including payment activity, CEI, DSO calculations, and bad debt metrics.

Ensure timely delivery of reports and address discrepancies or issues as needed.

Process Improvement and Optimization:

Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve operational efficiency.

Recommend and implement best practices for data management and reporting.

Audit Support and Compliance:

Assist with audits and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Analyze trends and recommend process improvements to enhance compliance and operational effectiveness.

Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in analytics

Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software

Must be a results‑oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills

Ability to multi‑task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines

Analytic and Reporting skills

Leadership and people management skills.

Communication, persuasive, and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to analyze data and optimize processes.

Knowledge of relevant collections laws and compliance standards.

Experience with financial software and reporting tool

Physical Requirements

Salary And Benefit Statement Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience.

Salary Range: $52,000.00 – $70,000.00

This position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time off benefits and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan
