Role Description The Small Business Coach & Technical Assistance Specialist (West Seattle) will engage in activities designed to support small businesses in achieving their goals. Responsibilities include providing one-on-one business coaching, assisting business owners with planning and strategy, conducting training sessions on essential business practices, and offering tailored consulting services to support future endeavors. The role focuses on empowering small businesses within the West Seattle community to grow and succeed. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Seattle, WA.
Foundational Qualifications

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability tomaintainconfidentiality and sound judgment.
Comfortableworking in a hybrid environment.
Candidates who meet most, but not all, qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent lived/professional experience.
Experience with a
CDFI, CDC, or similar mission-driven organization .
Certifications orproficiencyin:
Bookkeeping or Accounting (e.g., QuickBooks)
Financial Coaching or Financial Education
Property Management
Small Business Advising or Technical Assistance
Experience providing one-on-one technicalassistance.
Familiarity with West Seattle or similar community-based business districts.
