LOCATION Remote with up to 5% travel
PURPOSE Creative Fundraising Advisors (CFA) is building capacity as we bring the best and brightest people and ideas to work with our mission-driven, nonprofit clients. We are seeking a dynamic marketing professional with a growth mindset motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a highly responsive, entrepreneurial environment.
You will play a key role in positioning our firm as a leader in the fundraising consulting sector, helping execute our business development strategy through multi-channel marketing campaigns that will grow CFA’s audience and engagement while maintaining our brand voice and design standards.
The Marketing Manager will report to CFA’s Senior Operations Manager and will collaborate closely with the Director of Business Development and Senior Strategic Communications Manager. Successful candidates will bring experience with marketing campaigns grounded in compelling storytelling and transformative impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and manage multi-channel campaigns that support marketing and business development strategies by:
Building and maintaining CRM campaign infrastructure including workflows, forms, and landing pages, and creating and updating contact records
Designing and distributing the monthly e-newsletter and other periodic e-communications
Creating social media content by writing copy, designing graphics, and publishing on various platforms
Laying out and publishing articles, resources, and project case studies on CFA websit
Monitoring and engaging with audiences across digital platforms
Building and coordinating logistics for promotional collateral related to conferences and events
Manage the design, review, approvals, and distribution of all marketing materials in alignment with content calendar
Compile and deliver marketing performance reports with SEO insights and recommendations for adjusting strategy, tactics, channels, etc. to improve performance
Conduct basic website maintenance and liaison with third-party web developer on work orders as needed
REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years of experience in marketing, design, and communications required, with a portfolio of promoting services to nonprofits preferred
Advanced user of marketing and communications CRM required, with HubSpot experience strongly preferred
Skilled user of marketing, design, and communications platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, WordPress, Zoom, and Google Workspace
Ability to collaborate with a team in a highly responsive, remote-first environment
Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Ability to accept and apply feedback from supervisor and stakeholders to meet objectives and deadlines
Demonstrated commitment to the nonprofit sector through professional, volunteer, and/or personal experience
COMPENSATION The salary band for a Manager at CFA is $60,000-$80,000, benchmarked to the Minneapolis-St. Paul market, and depending on experience and qualifications. There is room to grow over time based on ability to regularly exceed expectations and demonstrate skills growth or take on additional responsibility.
