Tagalog Translator (Volunteer) for Christian Materials

Cybermissions, Virginia, MN, United States

Cybermissions began in Manila in 2001 and later moved to Los Angeles, California in 2004, and then to Rhoadesville, Virginia in 2020. We are a digital Christian non‑profit that provides free and low‑cost theological training to those who need it most.

We are people who are "third‑culture" international Christians from a wide variety of backgrounds. We are all volunteers. We are looking for people who will enjoy being part of a prayerful Spirit‑filled team and who will stick with us.

Volunteer Opportunities Our volunteer opportunities tend to fall into the following categories:

Design and Production

Software

Hardware

Social Media and Publicity

Administration and Fundraising

We are a small Christian non‑profit that cannot sponsor visas or offer employment, but we are happy to help with skills development and we will give references after task completion.

Our 2024 report video is here https //youtu.be/yFkUPFZBW-k

Translation Project Cybermissions provides free Christian training materials to those who need it most, mainly ebooks in PDF format. We would like to translate our materials into Tagalog in the atow‑tspe process.

Responsibilities

Use a powerful AI translation tool from the Summer Institute of Linguistics to do an initial translation.

Have a human being fix any errors in translation and grammar. The translation model is clumsy in Tagalog grammar. It does not need to be "deep Tagalog", just ordinary Tagalog.
