Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Fire Protection Estimator, based remotely. The Fire Protection Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for fire protection systems, analyzing project requirements, and collaborating with project managers and engineers. Additional responsibilities include evaluating blueprints and specifications, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and coordinating with vendors for material and labor costs.
Qualifications
Proficiency in cost estimation, project budgeting, and financial analysis
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, including sprinklers and fire suppression
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Experience with software tools for estimation, project management, or design
Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
Previous experience working in industrial or mechanical contracting is a plus
