Audience Insights & Intelligence Lead, AWS Global Executive Marketing

Overview

AWS is seeking an experienced marketer to develop and evangelize customer insights and intelligence about the executive audience. This role will be responsible for cultivating deep customer understanding, influencing research investments, and creating scalable mechanisms that enhance AWS's collective knowledge about this valuable audience. The position will work with a variety of cross-functional partners to define personas, modernize customer experiences, and map cross-channel customer journeys. This role sits within the AWS Global Executive Marketing organization (GEM). GEM is focused on building and deepening AWS' relationship with executive customers, who play a significant role in shaping the future of cloud computing and AI. The role will be part GEM's Audience Strategy and Enablement team. Our vision is to enable all of AWS to deliver executive customers a coordinated and consistent experience. Responsibilities

Develop Personas and Map Customer Journeys: Create and maintain comprehensive customer personas for the executive audience, incorporating behavioral data, channel preference, and decision-making data. Develop and implement customer journey maps for the executive audience across touchpoints, channels, and campaigns in partnership with event, account-based-marketing, field, and integrated demand teams. Maintain personas and journey maps based on ongoing research, behavioral data, and program learnings to enable customer-facing teams to leverage the latest insights in real time. Own Customer Intelligence and Insights Engine: Partner with Customer Research and Analyst Relations to benchmark AWS preference with the executive audience, identify gaps in understanding, and influence investment priorities for third-party (3P) and first-party (1P) research studies. Develop and maintain an evergreen mechanism that aggregates customer research, analyst data, insights from programs and touchpoints across the AWS ecosystem, and data from AWS-owned channels into a single source. Synthesize insights linked to business outcomes such as revenue, customer acquisition, or account retention. Scale Collective Knowledge of the Audience: Create scalable mechanisms and frameworks that democratize executive audience intelligence across AWS. Partner with Center of Excellence and Field Enablement to create engaging and cadenced insight delivery mechanisms, and develop playbooks, toolkits, and educational materials that enable teams to leverage the insights effectively. Own inputs into business reviews and narratives that communicate audience trends and strategic implications to senior leadership. Maintain feedback loops that continuously capture and integrate learnings from customer interactions, translating insights into business strategies and holding partner teams accountable for improvements. 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs Experience communicating results to senior leadership 2+ years of segmentation and developing customer profiles experience Preferred Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
