Loan Documentation Specialist
Create loan documents and perform pre-documentation and post-documentation reviews on non-complex consumer and commercial loan requests by preparing, reviewing, and maintaining loan files under established procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare standard consumer and commercial loan documents on non-complex loan requests using approved templates Assist with pre-documentation file reviews for completeness and accuracy Perform post-documentation activities including imaging, indexing, and file maintenance Track receipt of executed loan documents and trailing items Respond to routine internal inquiries related to loan documentation status Identify documentation exceptions and escalate as appropriate Education And/Or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred 02 years of banking, loan operations, or documentation experience Basic understanding of loan documentation and filing requirements Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Attention to detail Time management Document accuracy Willingness to learn Physical Requirements
Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working at a computer workstation Frequent use of hands and fingers for keyboarding, data entry, and handling documents Ability to view computer screens for prolonged periods with close visual attention to detail Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching within the office environment Ability to lift and carry files or office materials weighing up to 25 pounds Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by telephone, and via electronic communication These physical requirements are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
