Graphic Communications Executive
Position Profile
The Graphic Communications Executive is responsible for selling continuous‑feed inkjet solutions, workflow technologies, and marketing solutions to customers within the Graphic Communications market. This role requires strong B2B sales experience in the Commercial Print space.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Drive Ricoh’s growth and market penetration within the Graphic Communications vertical by developing targeted customer strategies, including segmentation, awareness initiatives, and relationship‑building activities.
Promote and evangelize next‑generation inkjet technologies.
Consult with business owners and senior executives to demonstrate how new technologies can increase revenue and reduce costs.
Develop strong ROI analyses for proposed solutions.
Lead business development activities within the assigned territory.
Manage, protect, and grow an existing customer base by analyzing needs and delivering end‑to‑end communication solutions.
Oversee delivery, installation, and support of products, strategies, and equipment in the territory.
Meet or exceed assigned revenue, gross profit, and page‑growth targets.
Prepare and deliver persuasive briefings, proposals, and value propositions.
Take ownership of resolving workflow or technical issues in partnership with Professional Services and Customer Service teams.
Maintain accurate records of all account activities within Ricoh’s CRM and sales database.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales and documentation process.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Education, Experience & Certifications) Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
7–10 years of B2B sales experience.
At least 5 years of advanced sales experience with high‑volume printers (continuous feed and inkjet preferred).
Deep experience selling into the Graphic Communications vertical.
Proven success in complex, consultative sales environments.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated ability to develop new business markets and opportunities.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Graphic Communications industry.
Strong understanding of technology and end‑to‑end solution selling.
In‑depth knowledge of sales methodologies and processes, particularly within a matrix environment.
Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and writing skills.
Strong interpersonal, time‑management, and self‑motivation skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse, cross‑functional teams.
Ability to manage order, delivery, and implementation processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software tools.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
Primarily works from a home office or corporate office setting with standard lighting, ventilation, and noise levels.
Role includes cyclical stress due to goals, deadlines, and the impact of decisions and outcomes.
Requires minor physical activity, including periods of walking, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing, and lifting items under 10 lbs (e.g., files, paper, small parts).
Requires moderate dexterity and regular use of tools such as calculators, keyboards, and hand tools.
Daily customer site visits may be required; locations may not always be accessible via public transportation.
