Job Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented
Junior Interior Designer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will support design development, documentation, vendor coordination, budgeting, and FF&E selection for residential and commercial projects. The role requires strong design sense, technical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities Design Development
Develop design concepts aligned with client needs and project goals.
Create interior design schemes including space planning, color palettes, materials, and finishes.
Drawings & Documentation
Prepare detailed drawings, plans, elevations, and presentations using industry-standard software.
Collaborate with architects and design teams to integrate interior elements within project documentation.
Vendor Coordination
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers for material sourcing and procurement.
Ensure all FF&E items meet project specifications and budget limits.
Shop Drawings & Specifications
Review and approve shop drawings for accuracy and design intent.
Prepare specifications for construction, installation, and finishing works.
Quotes & Budget Management
Prepare cost estimates, quotes, and BOQs.
Assist the project team in monitoring and managing project budgets.
FF&E Selection
Lead the selection of furniture, fixtures, and equipment as per design concepts and client preferences.
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and product innovations.
Required Skills & Qualifications Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
1–4 years of experience in residential or commercial interior design.
Strong portfolio demonstrating design capability.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in
AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or similar tools .
Strong knowledge of
materials, finishes, and FF&E procurement .
Ability to prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and specifications.
