Job Opportunity: Customer Service Representative Location: Blue Ash OH Pay Rate: $19-20/hour Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST Job Description Customer Service Representative – Green Dot Corporation The Customer Service Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional, world-class customer support by handling inbound and outbound customer interactions. This role focuses on resolving escalations, complaints, and complex customer issues while ensuring compliance with Green Dot policies and service standards.

Key Responsibilities: Manage inbound calls and complete outbound follow-ups to maintain service levels and queue efficiency. Professionally handle customer escalations and complaints in accordance with company policies and procedures. Demonstrate strong negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills to resolve issues within authority limits and escalate appropriately when necessary. Serve as the voice of the customer by identifying root causes of recurring issues and recommending process improvements. Accurately document customer interactions and maintain updated records in internal systems. Collaborate with internal teams, business units, partners, and vendors to ensure timely and complete issue resolution. Share knowledge and insights with team members to reduce repeat issues and improve overall customer experience. Utilize internal tools and resources to provide accurate information and identify policy or procedural gaps.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Minimum of 2 years of customer service or contact center experience. Proven ability to de-escalate challenging situations with empathy and professionalism. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify systemic issues and recommend solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience in financial services or fintech environments preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, customer-focused environment.
