NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Clerical & Admin Specialist at Restland Funeral Home. Our administrative teams assume the crucial role of ensuring seamless operations throughout every stage of the delicate client family life cycle, from the initial meeting with families, until final arrangements are made. We serve as the cornerstone of our client family support structure, acting as the glue that holds everything together. We are problem solvers and peace-of-mind-providers - we implement checks and balances to maintain consistency and uphold our commitment to care in every interaction.
Responsibilities
Produce high-quality memorial stationery, including service programs, prayer cards, bookmarks, guest books, and acknowledgement cards
Edit and format family-provided text and photos to create polished, accurate printed materials
Assist with formatting media for slideshows or tribute videos
Prioritize printing tasks based on service schedules and turnaround requirements
Retouch and restore photos as needed
Operate printers, copiers, laminators, and cutting equipment
Perform routine basic troubleshooting on printing equipment
Monitor inventory of paper, ink, toner, and specialty materials as needed
Proof all materials for accuracy in layout, grammar, spelling, and design
Check final product against the service details to ensure 100% accuracy
Maintain a compassionate, service-oriented approach when interacting with families virtually or in person
Qualifications
Computer knowledge (Directors Print Suite, Canva, and photoshop preferred)
Ability to work well in a team-based environment
Ability to learn new software and conduct new tasks
Professional communication and organizational skills
Valid driver's license
High School Diploma or equivalent
Compensation
$23.00/hr.
