What you’ll do
As a Senior Art Director reporting to the Associate Creative Director, you will play a key role in supporting the ideation and execution of our Fashion Tier 3 and site PDP photography with a focus on product. This role requires a mix of creative and production expertise with a hands-on skillset. You must have strong organizational abilities, the ability to problem solve on set, and a keen eye for detail. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who has a strong visual taste and desire to uplevel the work for PDP, so that it is aspirational, elevated and modern.
Support Best-in-Class Work: Contribute to evolving how we approach PDP and Tier 3 work so that we have a solid foundation to elevate our assets. Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes to inform creative decisions.
Collaborate with the team to create cohesive, on-brand visual concepts, and extensive knowledge in the industry so that we can bring in the right partners (e.g., photographers, stylists, glam, etc).
Support the ideation, design, and execution of our shoots and have a solid understanding of the pre and post production needs, such as:
Knowing how to operate and own casting decisions, shot lists, collaborating with stylists on photography styles, setting up a defined look per shoot that is on-brand, and other production elements.
Participate in shoots, own post-production processes (e.g., making selects, retouching notes), and help ensure the final delivery of cohesive asset suites.
Familiarity with Capture One and Creative Force is a plus.
Maintain Brand Consistency: Support brand cohesion across all creative assets and materials at every level of the consumer journey.
Client Satisfaction: Build relationships with partners, such as marketing, fashion office, and editorial, to support business growth and continuity.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an art director or similar role in the fashion retail industry
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of multi-channel creative projects
Exceptional eye for detail and understanding of what makes a product sell
Strong collaboration and time management skills
In-depth understanding of fashion trends and consumer behavior
Proficiency in creative tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides, Figma, Office 365, and Slack
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a creative role
Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Design or extensive career experience in Photography and/or Design
Reporting
Reports to Associate Creative Director, Fashion
