
Sr Loan Processor (Bilingual) - Mortgage

FocusOne Mortgage Solutions is looking for a full-time in-house Bilingual Sr. Loan Processor. We are located in Northwest Houston.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Mortgage Sr. Loan Processor has the primary responsibility for the mortgage loan and all documentation from the receipt of the file through closing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Member Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers through the loan process. Point of contact to gather information and explain process expectations. Provide regular updates to members, realtors, and other stakeholders.
Document & Loan File Management
Collect, review, and validate all documentation for compliance with GSE and CU standards. Input and maintain data integrity in the loan origination system. Verify income, assets, and credit report information per AUS findings.
Underwriting & Closing Support
Review appraisals, title reports, and flood certifications. Ensure satisfaction of all underwriting conditions. Finalize file for closing and submit to investors as required (Jumbo, VA, FHA). Monitor lock-in periods and request extensions when necessary.
Compliance & Policy Adherence
Ensure adherence to federal and state mortgage regulations. Maintain knowledge of investor and insurer guidelines. Follow internal policies and workflows accurately and efficiently.
Perform related duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure Proficient in data entry and mortgage software systems. In-depth understanding of conventional and special mortgage programs Working knowledge of federal/state lending regulations and GSE guidelines.
EXPERIENCE:
B.A. or B.S. degree in business preferred or equivalent work/educational experience. Successful completion of courses or seminars relating to mortgage banking processing and underwriting, and escrow. Minimum 2 years of experience as a mortgage loan processor, closer, or underwriter with an emphasis on conventional loan products

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
