Responsibilities include thoroughly reviewing each repair order prior to beginning work on the vehicle, completing all paint preparation processes for the vehicle, priming, edging, or jamming replacement parts, knowing how to properly sand and prep for paint, new parts, and blend parts, blocking panels for refinishing, masking and spraying the correct amount and coats of primer, masking all panels and covering the car to minimize tapelines and overspray on the vehicle, utilizing all required safe equipment and following proper refinishing procedures in compliance with OSHA guidelines, adhering to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and other tasks as assigned by management. Requirements include a valid state driver's license and acceptable driving record, high attention to detail, being a team player, being reliable with a good work ethic, being enthusiastic and friendly with good customer service skills, having a professional, positive attitude and working well as part of a team, and at least three years of paint prepping experience.
