Overview The Graphic Designer provides creative support across multiple teams, including marketing, PR, production, and game development, delivering high-quality visual assets for a variety of channels. Gaming experience is required for this role, as you will regularly interpret and enhance game worlds, characters, and narratives through your designs.
Responsibilities Create original print and digital design assets such as packaging, event materials, social media content, seasonal artwork, posters, web banners, and more, with a focus on video game properties.
Produce additional art assets, including reference materials for development teams, first-party online use, and marketing campaigns.
Update and refine existing projects and files in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, PowerPoint, and other design tools.
Organize, archive, and back up all assigned projects and assets in a consistent, accessible manner.
Collaborate closely with design leads and stakeholders to develop creative solutions that are on brief, on brand, and aligned with game and campaign objectives.
Incorporate feedback from marketing partners and internal groups, iterating quickly while preserving creative quality.
Maintain a strong attention to detail and adhere strictly to established brand, franchise, and style guidelines.
Independently manage priorities, timelines, and workload; clearly communicate progress, risks, and needs to leads and creative direction.
Integrate 3D assets into static designs for use in key art, campaign visuals, presentations, and other deliverables.
Troubleshoot basic issues with Mac and PC workstations and related equipment as needed.
Perform additional design and production tasks as assigned.
Qualifications Professional portfolio demonstrating strong design work, including gaming-related projects (key art, UI, marketing assets, or in-game visuals).
Advanced proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Experience with Figma and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications is a plus.
Strong sense of composition, framing, alignment, typography, and color.
Proven ability to conceptualize, plan, and execute original design solutions from brief to final delivery.
Basic familiarity with After Effects or other motion tools is a plus.
Comfortable receiving and applying constructive feedback; open, collaborative, and resilient.
Experience supporting social media and digital marketing campaigns, ideally for games or entertainment brands.
Ability to work under tight deadlines, multitask, and prioritize projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for design software and hardware.
Exceptional attention to detail and clear, professional communication skills.
Experience creating and refining presentations in PowerPoint; Google Slides and Keynote experience is a plus.
Bonus skills: copywriting, motion graphics, photography, advanced typography, UX/UI, illustration, and/or 3D modeling.
3–5 years of professional design experience, with direct video game industry experience required (studio, publisher, esports, or game-focused agency).
Relevant degree in design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
