What You’ll Do Write, shoot, edit, and deliver original, compelling news stories across broadcast and digital platforms
Conduct interviews, develop sources, and build strong community relationships
Exercise strong editorial judgment in selecting and shaping stories
Use innovative storytelling tools, including graphics, viewer-submitted media, and digital video techniques
Write for the web and post daily across all digital and social media platforms
Collaborate with producers, photographers, and other journalists to enhance storytelling

Requirements
What You’ll Bring Strong on-air presence and live-shot experience
Proven ability to cultivate sources and uncover enterprise stories
Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — with the ability to ad-lib when needed
Outstanding time-management and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple deadlines
Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
Proficiency in shooting and editing video; creative eye for visuals and storytelling
Active, engaging social media presence and digital fluency
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or related field
1–2 years of professional live television reporting experience required (2+ years preferred)
Experience with iNews, AVID, and AVID Cloud UX preferred
Familiarity with HD video cameras, tripods, and mobile content gathering
Computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
