Pricing Analyst

The Pricing Analyst will assist the Pricing and Project Management Department in developing and analyzing matter and client profitability as well as tracking and reporting on the Firm's significant alternative fee agreements. This position must be able to work both independently and within the various systems and organizational infrastructure. This position blends the skill sets of both a financial analyst and a business analyst. Essential Job Functions

Prepare profitability models and templates to support analysis of a wide array of fee proposals utilizing Firm financial metrics. Provide historical financial data to help proactively inform strategic pricing decisions. Assist attorneys with producing budget estimates based on the present scope as well as information gathered through data mining of historical engagements. Perform analysis and provide support to decision making throughout the firm related to pricing and matter management. Provide financial analysis and/or business support on RFP's, RFI's, bids and client pitches. Assist in rate negotiations, including rate cards and coordinating with the Billing department to ensure rates are applied accordingly. Perform projects and analysis as directed by the Manager of Pricing and Project Management, Director of Pricing and Project Management and/or COO. Performs any and all other duties as necessary and as assigned by your supervisor for efficient functioning of the Department, Office and Firm. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics or Management Information Systems. At least 4 years of experience in the professional services industry. Advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience with Aderant preferred but not required. Knowledgeable of SQL queries. Tech-savvy and proficient at data mining and data manipulation. Must be very organized, detail oriented, thoughtful, and demonstrate good problem solving skills. Enjoys technical work and being a team player. Must be analytical, inquisitive and want to make a contribution to the department and Firm. Location
