Tasks RESPONSIBILITIES
As a
Technical Sales & Client Success Consultant (m/f/d)
you will…
Provide deep technical expertise to Sales teams during complex sales cycles, acting as subject matter expert for advanced product and architecture-related topics.
Support RFI/RFP processes and develop winning technical strategies.
Provide tailored demos (including customization on code-level) for highly complex cases in collaboration with Sales and Partners.
Act as a trusted advisor on architecture, integrations, and platform best practices
Build long-term customer relationships and ensure ongoing success with Pimcore
Proactively monitor customer satisfaction and identify churn risks early.
Drive proactive problem resolution to minimize churn and strengthen customer retention, working closely with Partners and Sales Executives.
Identify growth and upsell opportunities within existing accounts
Share customer insights and feedback with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams
Requirements REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field
Experience in Pre-Sales, Technical Consulting, Customer Success, or SaaS/PaaS account management
Solid understanding of software architectures, APIs, integrations, and data modeling
Experience with data platforms, digital experience platforms, or enterprise software ecosystems (PIM, DAM, CMS, DXP, eCommerce)
Excellent communication skills across technical and business stakeholders
Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset with a strong customer focus
Fluent in English and German
Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 5–10%)

For this position we differentiate between Junior, Expert, and Senior seniority levels. For an Expert level, the starting salary is EUR 72,000 gross per year (full-time) with willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience.
