THE DEPARTMENT: Join our dynamic Distribution Center team, where we process over 1.5 million merchandise items each year, amounting to more than $500 million in retail value. Our dedicated team is essential in receiving, quality-checking, packing, billing, and shipping products to stores daily. We also expertly manage the return of over 150,000 pieces (valued at more than $40 million) of recalled merchandise, either returning them to manufacturers or storing them for replenishment. Please be aware that the Distribution area is a secure, metal-free zone, and associates must pass through a metal detector upon entry and exit. POSITION SUMMARY: As an E-Commerce Fulfillment Specialist, you will be integral to processing transactions from the Helzberg Diamonds Internet site, including handling special requests and providing value-added services. Your key responsibilities will involve accurately packing and timely shipping merchandise, locating items from stores as needed, and facilitating returns for online purchases. You'll collaborate with teams across the company, including Customer Care, Sales Audit, and Information Technology, to address order-related inquiries. Communicating with clients via email to resolve any questions regarding their orders will also be part of your role. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Efficiently process and pack sales orders generated from the Helzberg Diamonds Internet website. Include all essential materials like warranties, gift cards, and packing slips in each shipment. Manage value-added transactions (e.g., resizing) to maintain compliance with specifications. Collaborate with the customer care team to process returns for online purchases. Locate merchandise in stores if it is unavailable at the Distribution Center and properly receipt and process items through the system. Run and review reports to audit orders effectively. Provide backup support to the supervisor as needed. Contribute to various duties across workgroups in the Distribution Center to foster a collaborative team environment aligned with our company mission. QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma is required. Two to three years of experience in distribution or warehouse environments is preferred. Exceptional organizational skills, precision, and attention to detail are essential to meet deadlines. Strong communication abilities and proficiency in computer systems are required. The capacity to thrive under pressure during busy periods is crucial. Regular on-site attendance is necessary, five days a week, to facilitate effective collaboration with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
