Recruitment began on February 25, 2026 and the job listing Expires on March 28, 2026 The OGS Division of Real Estate provides a comprehensive suite of real estate services facilitated by more than 600 state employees in several units. These services include the maintenance and operation of 20 million square feet of improved real property, the negotiation and administration of over 400 active lease agreements, the disposal of state-owned property, the protection and permitting of state lands underwater, as well as maintaining data and systems to meet program goals. Within DRE, The Programming and Resource (PRM) division is responsible for supporting the system of DRE. The work for this internship will include: The student assistant will be responsible for generating standard reports from the work management system on a scheduled basis. This may involve running pre-defined reports, formatting them, and distributing them to the relevant stakeholders. They may assist the BSA’s on the team in gathering specific data points or information required for more complex reports. The student assistant may also write SQL as needed for reporting purposes. Data Visualization: The student assistant will create charts, graphs, and dashboards to visually represent data, making it easier for stakeholders to understand complex information and trends. This could involve using tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or built-in reporting features of the work management system. Assists the BSA2 with engaging DRE stakeholders. Participates in stakeholder workshops and meetings to assess program needs and requirements Identifies opportunities and recommendations to improve system utilization and functionality. As directed by the BSA2, Conducts fit-gap analysis for existing and proposed process and system components. Assists the BSA2 in validating requirements throughout the business analysis process. Contributes to the creation of business requirements documentation as needed to guide the creation or modification of processes and systems. Under the direction and guidance of the BSA2, performs system administration activities including system configuration, account management, user support, data analysis and quality assurance. Assists in the tracking, evaluation and reporting on annual financial budgets using spreadsheets or other tools as needed. This will be an onsite position in the Corning Tower at the Empire State Plaza. The workday is between 8am and 5pm. Because this is a part time position, the candidate will be able to select hours that best fit their college schedule within the normal workday.
