POSITION SUMMARY Compensation: $21.00-$24.00 (depending on experience)
As a
Leasing Consultant , you will play a key role in bringing new residents to our community. You’ll manage the leasing process from start to finish and work directly with potential residents to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience. Reports To The
Leasing Consultant
typically reports to the
Property Manager
and collaborates with the leasing and management team to maintain high occupancy levels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leasing & Customer Service
Greet and assist prospective residents, providing excellent customer service.
Show apartments and properties, explaining the leasing process and amenities.
Follow up with leads and maintain accurate prospect records.
Process applications, verify information, and manage lease documentation.
Coordinate move-in logistics and ensure a smooth transition for new residents.
Resident Relations & Property Support
Handle resident inquiries and resolve issues when necessary.
Assist in planning and executing resident engagement events.
Ensure leasing materials and marketing information are up to date.
Maintain knowledge of the local rental market and competitor properties.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous leasing or customer service experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office and property management software .
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Frequent walking, standing, and climbing stairs while inspecting properties and interacting with residents.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs (e.g., boxes, office supplies, or promotional materials).
Occasional bending, squatting, or kneeling to inspect facilities or assist with move-in tasks.
Ability to operate office equipment, computers, and telephones for extended periods.
